Tournament regulations

The KOKKOLA CUP tournament will be played according to the rules determined by F.I.F.A and the Finnish Football Association, with the exception of duration of games, substitutes, warning rules and goal kicks (see General Regulations) and with the exception of possible special decisions made by the organizer.

Each participating team needs to ensure that players have current insurances valid for tournaments also.

The official regulations language of Kokkola Cup is Finnish.

GENERAL REGULATIONS

Each team must submit a roster list of players’ names and dates of birth. The Kokkola Cup committee may require proof of the above. Each team can have an unlimited number of players in the squad. No additional players can be added in the squad during the tournament. A player can play in several teams during the tournament but only in one team per age group.

The team is allowed to use an unlimited number of substitutes in the match as long as they are listed in the roster sheet and submitted.

If both teams are wearing similar colours, the away team in the programme must change their match jerseys or use vests. The goalie’s jersey must be of significantly different colour than other jerseys.

Corner kick is always taken at the corner flag.

When a match ends in a tie in a Cup- and final match, it will be solved immediately after full-time with a penalty shoot-out. The penalty kicks are done according to F.I.F.A regulations. On big fields: 5 penalty takers. EXCEPTION: E-11 and younger: 3 penalty takers.

In games played in the age group of E and younger, the referees will only use green cards. If the situation should require a yellow or a red card, the referee can reprimand the player or remove the player from the field, but the team can continue on with full strength.

BOOKINGS AND SENDING-OFFS
